Arcadeum Community Newsletter #5
News from 18th - 24th March, by Ace
Hello and welcome to the fifth community newsletter in a week where most of us were gifted a juicy Arbitrum airdrop. It was a relatively quiet week in the Arcadeum space but there’s still a few bits to fill you in on!
Firstly, Multi-betting arrived. This could be a game changer for Arcadeum because it means that a new metamask transaction doesn’t need to be initiated for each new bet. It’s much more fun to set 10 bets and watch them happen one after another. This should help ensure more people use the site and the flywheel spins faster 🙂
Next, little over a month into our development, we crossed the 10,000 bets milestone. This is awesome and really shows how we’ve got lots of keen people on our platform. Next stop 100k!
Feedback:
Slots was taken down on Monday because there was a potential fault. It’s important that even the smallest chance of a problem is taken seriously to protect ALP depositors. As of today (Friday), Slots is now up and working with 100% confidence!
The much anticipated release of Futures is delayed. Although we aimed for release on the 17th March, the Vesta integration is taking longer than expected and our lead dev has had some personal stuff to deal with. Should be released soon. Patience please, anon!
Thurs 23rd:
Regarding Arcadeum stats, can see below that over the course of the week ALP incurred losses of $15k. Despite the odds being in the favour of the ALP, the nature of gambling means there will be ups and downs.
Also, the ALP has seen withdrawals of around ~500k. This should mean higher profit for those that are still in the pool!
Finally, it’s good to celebrate that there’s been over 1k bets this past week. I wonder if we will hit a 2k bet week soon 🙂
